Google Chrome is no more BETA

Finally Google released the new browser "Google Chrome". I think many software engineers and computer professionals are waiting for this time . Because, the product released by Google,The brand name , no doubt it will rise in future. Google products includeYouTube, Gmail, orkut, Earth,adsence search engine and so on...are very famous products. Now days every browser contains the Google search eng as default search engine.and we already know how the google adsence is useful for us.I've got no benchmarks, but on some very complicated web pages, Google Chrome is MUCH faster than Firefox. Other benchmarks call it 4 times faster.

Google Chrome is a browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the Web faster, safer, and easier. Thumbnails of your top sites let you access your favorite pages instantly with lightning speed from any new tab. Desktop shortcuts allow you to launch your favorite Web apps straight from your desktop.
Version 1.0.154.36 includes better stability and performance of plug-ins (particularly video), better bookmarking and privacy features, and improved speed.
Note: The Download link will take you to the Google Chrome Web site, where you must accept the end-user license agreement before downloading. Also, the 474K downloadable file is only a stub installer. You must remain connected to the Internet during installation to complete the full download of Google Chrome.

Pros include:

• Light weight, colorful, peaceful, easily browse facility, contains own task manager, great bookmark facility.
• Contains its own task manager in that, we can see the options like, memory, cpu, network.
• Contains information of how much memory the website occupies and how much the cpu and the network usage can also be observed.
• New Incognito mode is a Google Chrome browsing mode where your subsequent web searches are recorded in your Google Web History.If you want to make sure your searches are not stored in your Google Account, you'll need to pause your Google Web History tracking. Browsing in incognito mode only keeps Google Chrome from storing information about the websites you've visited.
• Encoding fecility, text zoom are also available in this browser.
• View source, debug java script, java script console are available with chrome at developer option.

Cons:

• Google Chrome provides sandboxing functionalities. Apparently each process is sandboxed. So taking over a process may not result into an immediate pwnage but it will certainly give the attackers some advantage.
• Missing status bar. Although chrome claims to be of high speed, there are slow sites where status bar helps you know that something is being done by the browser.
• Missing the search bar. The address bar does both the things for you. Although it is a new approach and could be very helpful once you become used to it but could be annoying sometimes.
• Missing feature to deal with RSS feeds, which is very popular nowadays.
• Although its looks and innovative idea of handling each tab as a separate process are very exciting but it lacks the third-party add-ons right now, which are all build up for Firefox and IE.

Because it is new release the add-ons are not available. May be Google provide the add-ons later. at presently not available.
